Under government legislation, new builds are required to have an independent ventilation validation test to ensure their energy efficiency and safety is in line with regulation requirements. This is sometimes undertaken as part of an air tightness test and can contribute to the overall BER Certification given to your property.

Here at Nationwide Energy Consultants, we provide full ventilation testing as part of our air tightness testing services as well as being available as a standalone service. During this test, one of our ventilation validators will assess your property’s mechanical ventilation system. We will be testing accurately using a flow hood to determine if it is functioning as designed. Our ventilation validators can assess your system if it is a heat recovery, demand control ventilation (D.C.V), central extract ventilation or natural ventilation with mechanical extractor fans. This service is available for homes as well as for commercial and industrial properties of all sizes.
