A commercial BER is required before any commercial or non-domestic property is advertised for sale or rent. In the event of ownership being transferred without advertisement a BER is still required to transfer ownership, be it leasehold or freehold.
Having a commercial BER carried out is a three-step process
Our pricing is different for every job as it depends on several factors such as access, building location building usage (retail, offices etc.)
As a guide, we would charge approximately €175 with an additional €1 per m2 where floor plans are available with an additional €0.30 perm2 where no floor plans are available. All prices would be subject to VAT at 23%
For individual job’s we travel to & regularly have assessors in the following areas:
Dublin(all areas), Kildare, Drogheda, Dundalk, Carlingford, Ardee, Dunleer, Navan, Bettystown, Laytown, Athboy, Kells, Slane, Duleek, Ratoath, Trim, Summerhill, Dunboyne, Dunshaughlin, Ashbourne, Kingscourt, Carrickmacross
We also regularly travel further afield & have carried out BER’s in just about every townland in Ireland, but this would only be for a batch of properties or larger projects.
